Tex currently coaches a wide variety of small businesses including sales firms, professional firms, lobbying firms and start up firms. Business Experience Tex has led seminars and workshops for thousands of people in personal effectiveness, productivity, accomplishment, and leadership throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. He started his management career as one of the youngest agency owners in the insurance business at the age of 25. He built two large agencies, eventually becoming the number one agency in the country with his parent company. Tex is the owner of Johnston Consulting Group, a ten person consulting firm working throughout the United States with offices in Silicon Valley, Boston, Phoenix, and Kansas City. Johnston's Consulting work includes real estate, accounting, legal, construction, retail, and high tech firms. Education Tex was educated at Hartnell College in Salinas, and at San Jose State University. He majored in Business Administration. Personal Tex's primary interest is his family, he and his wife, Gail, have 6 children and 12 grandchildren. He also enjoys golf. In his spare time he enjoys exploring California's Gold Country and traveling with his wife. |
